Are stories featured and used as advertisements?

No. We do not create a directory or use stories or pictures without express consent. Our platform houses many stories but we do not list names and only create a searchable option with your consent. The access to the stories is through our personalized modules or a shared link by a friend or a family member or a visitor to your memorial .

The website name is used to validate the module to the potential user. Some users may be hesitant to tap on a device , but if they check the site, they will be re-assured. It is also a method of obtaining instructions if they are having trouble accessing your platform.

What should I do if my NFC connection fails?

First, ensure NFC is enabled on your device. If the problem persists, restart your phone and try again. Contact support if issues continue.

Does the platform operate as a directory?

No, We can create a searchable option, if you wish. We protect your privacy and can go to the extent of randomizing your personalized area with a number or random letters. We also can title your page with your name for a visitor to find you in a search. We can also password protect your page which creates access exclusively for password holders.rs

The use and siginificance of Gps technology

We encourage our subscribers to use GPS to identify significant locations. We also encourage our subscribers to take a picture of the module when it is installed making sure their GPS option is enabled. This allows us to catalogue the GPS to locate a device in the case of loss or damage. It also allows your readers to visit your places of interest when travelling .

NFC has a limited range, typically a few centimeters, and requires compatible devices to function properly.

How are the modules installed?

Depending on the surface you are applying the NFC. For exterior use, we suggest a silicone adhesive such as Gorilla glue. For interior use, we suggest 3M two-sided tape.

This is a case-by-case scenario. In most cases, we can.

Can you replace modules if they are lost or stop working?

The modules have non-moving parts, they are designed to last. They may need to be replaced. Once you have purchased one of our packages, modules are replaced at a 50% discount. Shipping is extra.

The use of tags and how people find others

You can use 5 tags, which are unique categories you create. These categories allow others to search and find you, for example, those from a certain place, place of employment, faith group, or school.
